QC Paint Pro, a contracting company offering a full range of painting and finishing services to residential and commercial clients, is currently hiring for 2 open positions. We are in need of crew members to add to our operations.

We are seeking: 

• Experienced Painters, or anyone experienced in drywall finishing or remodeling.

• Painters with limited experience or no professional experience at all.

• Aspiring painters – with no experience painting, but a desire to learn a trade, learn valuable skills and perform outstanding work you can be proud of.

Requirements:

• Legally permitted to work in Illinois

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license

• No DUI, suspension, or revocation of driving privileges in the last 5 years

• Reliable, daily transportation to work.

• Must be punctual, arrive on time, or early with enough time to prepare for work.

• Proficiency in practical math, including adding/subtracting measurements with fractions, ability to use a conversion calculator for fluids and different units of measurement, interpret and understand instructions that require precise measurement or calculation of measurements.

• High standards for attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy, and quality of work.

• Follows all safety and occupational health rules and regulations, including the use of protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, respirator or face mask, hearing protection, or high-visibility clothing, fall protection harness, and hard-hat where appropriate.

• Must be physically able to stand, squat or kneel for extended periods of time.

• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Current open positions:
1 Painter’s Assistant  $18 – $22 per hour

1 Painter $23 – $27 per hour

The Painter and Painter’s Assistant are a two-person team who conduct the production operations of our projects. They each will have specific duties and responsibilities ranging from materials acquisition to protecting a homeowner’s carpet and belongings during a painting or remodeling job, and of course, the preparation of surfaces and application of paints and other coatings.
